Holographic card carousel
Klarna card selector that feels like flipping through Pokémon trading cards — ghost-duplicate infinite scroll, pointer tilt, accelerometer-driven holo layers, and iOS haptic steps.

What I wanted
A tactile, collectible feel for choosing between payment cards — not a flat swiper. The interaction should reward exploration without feeling gimmicky on mobile.
What I built with Cursor
- Five-card arc layout with silent copy recentering so navigation never teleports.
- Holo shimmer masked to each card silhouette — rainbow, shine, and glare layers driven by pointer or gyro.
- Swipe, keyboard, and arrow navigation with overlap-safe stepping.
Why it matters
Most of the polish is compositor hygiene — z-index during transitions, isolation for blend modes, and killing Safari flicker. AI helped iterate the math; judgment calls were about when to stop adding effects.
