I don't use one AI tool. I run a small crew of them, and each one has learned a different part of how I work.

Claude Code handles anything that touches my actual repos. Content, planning, the systems that keep two brands running without me micromanaging every step. Codex takes the throwaway scripts I don't want living in my main codebase. Cursor is still where I write when I want to see the file tree while I think.

None of this is static. I keep a set of custom skills, saved instructions for tasks I repeat every week, and every few weeks I rewrite one because the way I actually do the work changed since I wrote it. The tool didn't get smarter. My description of the job did.
